eHow Wonders

I don't know about you but sometimes I sit around and wonder some different things about eHow and how they actually run there business. It is tough from a writers stand point when you wonder if there is a tier on how much you make, such as if I have 100 articles do I get a better percentage then someone with 10 articles?  I always find it interesting to dissect companies such of this nature because of the fact most of us each month get paid from them daily and then monthly get a nice deposit into our Pay Pal account.  Let me share my wonders with you and see what you have to say.

Why is there know referral program for top writers?

How come first of all there isn't a referral program for the more elite members?  Let's say for instance if you have 100 or more articles that you can start to refer and have your own network and earn a small percentage off of there articles.  I look at the more elite class as motivators and teachers and I feel this could really help eHow out on there top writers.

Do you make more money with more articles?

So let's say you're a writer that has 100 plus articles.  Do you make more then one that has 10 articles?  I ask this because first of all if you continue to produce articles you would be more of an asset then one that creates a single article.

How come I can't enter key words for my articles and it chooses or gives me ideas for categories?

Do you ever catch yourself looking for a category for your articles and you just can't seem to find one dead on or one at all?  I know I do, and it would be awesome if you had the ability to have eHow find the best choices.

How come it says my articles should be ready in about 10 minutes after they are reviewed?

Glitch or no glitch, I notice when I write articles they only update once a day.  Yet when you read the notice it states along the lines of that it should be available shortly. Maybe I am reading it wrong, who knows.

I will be very interested to see if anyone else shares these wonders and as well has other ones that just stand right out.

Working at Home Websites: eHow

If you haven't heard of eHow yet consider yourself lucky that I am writing about this website.  Why do I say this?  Well eHow is probably by far one of the best spots to get started for an online business due to the fact of there very high rank on search engines and there very generous revenue sharing program they offer as well.  Personally I signed up for eHow not knowing it's benefit till about 5 months after signing up.  I wrote 1 article and left for a while and then ended up coming back realizing that I actually made money on it monthly.

So eHow in a very simple term is a spot to freelance and write "How To" articles on, yup really that is it.  But truthfully there are so many articles that need to be written that it will take a very long time to start getting super creative to come up with ideas.  Let's go ahead and take a look at all the great points eHow offers.

1.   Great start for a writer:  eHow offers a great way to get your name out into the world of writing.  With there very friendly relationship with search engines your articles are usually likely to end up on page 1 or 2 of the search results of any user.  I would say overtime though you will notice front page, and possibly even the first result.  If need check my articles out just for some proof.  My eHow page.

2. eHow's writers compensation program:  eHow offers a very great program where you actually get paid for various reasons on your articles that you write.  Now they won't exactly tell you what earns you money dead on but they give you an idea. Stated in there FAQ section it say's

          Q. What is my payment based on?
A. You get paid per article. Your article's earning potential can be based on a combination of several elements, including the amount of times it's been viewed and its category. The more useful your articles are to the reader, the more money you could make. Check out our tips and guidelines, like adding photos, and eHow's most-requested topics page for How To ideas.

To get the most out of understanding there writer's compensation program I recommend stopping by there FAQ section to read up on it and become familiar with it as well.

3.   User friendly website:  eHow offers a very simple face to there entire website. From signing up to getting started, they offer tips and tricks to make sure you get what you need.  As well, they offer a FAQ area to answer many questions so that you understand it.

4.  Networking:  eHow is a great spot to really build up your list of friends that also write.  It helps grow your own community so your name grows and overtime will really help your articles out and in general you. Some other key areas they offer for networking are there ability to "Create Groups".  Read my article "How to create a group on eHow" for more details on this area.  As well, the ability to send messages inside the eHow network.

5.  Personal profile page:  Your profile page on eHow rocks in my opinion.  It offers a ton of updated information such as articles written, earnings for the current month, article views, featured articles, notes from friends, and favorite articles.  Be on the look out as well for more information added to make your home page more user friendly.

6.  Guaranteed to earn:  I know guarantees can be tough to throw out there but truthfully it almost seems impossible not to earn off this website with a little effort.

Remember, this is going to be a website where you can get a nice start at working at home for a long term.  Just remember to keep writing articles that are beneficial, and as well to promote them.

That is all for now my friend.  Be sure to check out the eHow section here to get more tips and information on eHow.

How to Create a Group on eHow

The great things about websites sometimes is the fact they let you empower yourself to create a great community right inside there's.  Well, eHow has done this and I must say it is a great way to start a network of your own that can grow and increase your popularity.  Let's go ahead and take a look on how to do this.

Don't Give up to Early on eHow

eHow is one of those spots you can look back on and remember the tough days when you wrote your first article and every day you  would log into check your daily earnings and see the big zero that you so hoped wouldn't be there.  I know personally I am not alone and a lot of us probably wanted to give right up on the whole idea of working at home.  But, remember that day you logged in and shocked and in disbelief you had made a small amount of money that resembled a teeny bit of faith in eHow.

Now over time each article you wrote put your roots deeper and deeper into eHow realizing that with social bookmarking, marketing, and eHow super friendly relationship with search engines that your articles grew more popular and popular and landed right on the front page of the search engine.

OK, let's not get to ahead of ourselves, after all this articles is about not giving up and I am telling a optimistic story so I apologize, wait or do I? Hmmmmmmmmmm.  So for the beginners out in the world that are reading this you pretty much are asking yourself how exactly I would know right? Or this isn't true?  Well over time I noticed growth in my articles as I promoted them and had them work up the ladder.  Now one thing I will admit is that I don't make a lot off the site but enough to consider it worth while to continue.  See, when you make anything off an article that means there is potential in growth right.  Lets do some math here.

Now,  I know this is a very difficult problem to solve but I thought I would show you in long form.  So if you have 1 article that earns 1 dollar a month it might get you down because if you are only earning 1 dollar that isn't a lot at all right?  Well, what if you write another article and that equals to two dollars?  See the pattern that will happen with quantity of the articles combined with superb marketing and time with your articles.

The goal is to keep pushing and watch your residual income keep coming in.  That's the nice thing about eHow is they offer a platform where you can write and continue to get a piece of the action as long as that articles lasts out in the world.

Many things play into how you make money on eHow from key words, views, popularity and so on. The nice thing about eHow though is you could bomb in article odds are you will make money on it. May 2009 eHow Earnings

Well the month has closed out and I must say I am more positive then ever on becoming more and more independent with the earnings I have made. A couple notes for my current monthly earnings is first of all I have decided to only track my eHow earnings only due to the fact I feel this is the area that is going to make me the most, and using my knowledge on this website will be better in the long run then spreading out over different earnings sites. Easier to paint one wall then trying to paint four walls at once. Second, I have stepped up my article writing and have started to attempt quite a few this week. For May 2009 I wrote 39 articles this month and this was a bare minimum effort. Ok, lets get to what I made this month and see if this kicks anybody in the butt to get them moving writing.

Overcoming eHow doubters

As the beautiful Memorial Day weekend arrives most of us will be writing away putting some effort into your great articles that we all love writing. What better way to show what you know going this route. In fact most of you have probably told someone about eHow and told them how you can write "How To" articles and get paid for it, I know I have, And I am sure some of you have got a laugh back saying "That's Stupid" or "You can't make money", I think everyone I know has stated that. But as they state it I know each month my earnings have increased and I start to wonder is listening to these people the best thing or continue writing.

Well my friends I have continued writing my articles and it is moving upward unlike some of the doubters. Now remember though in defense for these people many of them do not know, so the best route is to tell you that you can't either. I mean truthfully what is easier than doing that. "One that can't will tell you that you can't" .

My friends on eHow continue writing and don't let others tell you anything. Let time show them what you have done and you will be so proud. My goal each month is to post my earnings here so that you can as well see proof. Now it won't be tons that I admit. But the thing is overtime it will grow and that is when it is all worth it.

Staying Positive with Ehow

When I first started Ehow it was back in 2008 and I just happend to see that you could make money by writing "How To Articles" which I found quite interesting just do to the fact I had quite a few ideas rolling through my head. So I went ahead and moved forward with my first article titled "How to Give Yourself a Quick Haircut for Short Hair" . So i was just pumped, but of course I pretty much forgot about it for 3 - 4 months actually because we all know how we get wrapped up in so many making money online sites we tend to forget and focus on the actual earning potential. So after a while I found my way back and logged in with my awesome username that I was just so proud about and found out that I made a little bit of money off my article. Now I personally didnt call into work and quit my day job because it was under $1.00, but it did motivate me to start writing again and found out that with a little work a day you actually can make honest money with Ehow and really come out ahead. Take a look at my earning snap shop below so far for 2009.

Now after you can see my earnings let me tell you that one article has earned me over half of this and I must say that it gives you a good idea to find a area that is well searched and as well you think is really interesting and good to know. The great thing is once your article is written you will notice in about a month the revenue to actually come in and showing that your article is a super star. Well this is all for now. Comment, get involved with this blog and let me know how you feel.
